jeez, what a presentation... much more like a Direct then I was expecting, I was expecting Nintendo Switch Presentation 2017 type. Anyways, here's everything you need to know about the Switch 2. Price Not announced during the direct, Nintendo Switch 2 launches at $450 on June 5th, 2025. Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World launches at $500. My upper limit was $400 for the system. $450 is kinda pushing it, and is making me rethink preordering. Mario Kart World launches at $80 on launch day. - This is completely wacko, I thought $70 was pushing it for AAA games, $80 is insane, practically making you to buy the bundle (with game cost at $50) if you want to play the game. Nobody should buy this game at $80, its ridiculous. Games Launch Day: - Mario Kart World (MKW Direct on April 17th) - Nintendo Switch 2: Welcome Tour - a PAID Tips game. ridiculous, nobody should buy this. it should be bundled with the system. - Street Fighter 6 - GameCube Games (NSO Online + Expansion Pack) - Deltarune ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - Drag x Drive (Summer 2025) - A like wheelchair basketball game using the Switch 2's Mouse Controls. - Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition (2025) - Hades II ("Later This Year") - Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment (2025, Winter) - The Duskbloods (2026) - Exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2, From Software game. - Kirby Air Riders (2025) - Directed by Sakurai, cool. - Donkey Kong Bananza (7/17/2025) - Basically Mario Odyssey but DK. Wish it was a 3D Mario but.. whatever - Super Mario Party Jamboree: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (7/24/2025) - The Legend Of Zelda: Breath of the Wild & Tears of the Kingdom: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (Launch Day) - Kirby and the Forgotten Land: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Star-Crossed World (8/28/2025) - Metroid Prime 4: Beyond: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (2025) - Pokemon Legends Z-A: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (Later This Year) These "Nintendo Switch 2 Edition"s are just upgraded versions of those Switch 1 games with better frame rates, resolutions, and sometimes new content. Fucking sweet. - The Nintendo Switch 2 Camera is a stupid ass dinky USB-C webcam for your Nintendo Switch 2 system. Supposed to also have integrations into Switch 2 games, such as the Mario Party Jamboree Upgrade Pack. Specs - Screen is a 1080p 7.9-inch with 120 FPS(!!!) & HDR - Dock is capable of 4K & 120FPS & HDR!!!! (Frame rates are capped at 60 fps for 4K output.) - 256GB Onboard Storage, expandable with microSD Express cards. I've probably missed some stuff but this is all I can come up with right now |
